Code of Practice
We strive to work to an agreed code of practice.
Respect for the property we are working in.
We dust sheet where appropriate and wear footwear protectors when necessary to protect fixtures, fittings, carpets and flooring. Where necessary, we will create a sealed dust partition in the area we are working to protect the rest of the building from dust and other contaminants.
Attention to detail on installations, servicing and repairs.
We strive to finish soldered joints, pipe fixings, radiators, shower mixers and all other plumbing fixtures to a high standard. We take time to check and ensure parts are installed well and fixed to manufacturers recommendations. Any instructions provided with parts and spares we supply and fit are left with our clients at the end of each job.
Pricing and cost of parts.
We strive to be transparent about the cost of our labour and parts. No parts are ever priced over the retail price. Estimated jobs are priced according to the time it takes to specify and collect the necessary parts and the time we spend on site. We round our time up to the nearest half hour. We do not charge for having a chat and cup of tea at the end of the job. We will ask you to cover the cost of the parts we supply at the beginning of the job, before work begins.
Covid-19 Social Distancing
We have respected to the letter, the laws and guidance on social distancing, isolation, the wearing of masks, and the need to respect the space of those in the properties we work. We cannot do more to ensure we have followed the rules for your safety and ours. Our team will wear masks at all times whilst working in customers homes. No engineer will turn up to do work in your home if they are feeling symptomatic, or believe they have been in close proximity to anyone they believe to be symptomatic, whether tested positive for Corona-virus or not. We have the NHS Covid19 App installed on our phone.
